The men and women who dwell in these
marginalized neighborhoods have very low educational
levels and lack training for a job, which implies
the impossibility of joining the labor market and
of reaching a decent salary that could cover their
basic needs. This situation is worst in women since
many of them are family head mothers.
Various courses are offered, such as: computers, bakery,
cooking, sewing machines, apparel and textile manufacturing,
macramé, embroidery, etc. These courses are
parallel to workshops on self-steem growth, as a way
to promote the development of social and labor abilities. |
